Baked Ham and Egg Cup

This quick and easy baked egg in a cup is perfect for a weekend breakfast or brunch. The combination of Canadian Havarti cheese and egg is delicious and you can assemble the ramekins ahead of time and bake them when needed, making this a great dish to serve for a group.

Baked-Ham-and-Egg-Cup

  • 1 large slice of ham
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) spinach or arugula
  •  2 oz (60 g) mushrooms, sautéed
  • 1 oz (30 g) Canadian Havarti, shredded
  • 1 egg

Preheat oven to 425F

Place slice of ham in mini-casserole or ramekin dish, covering bottom and sides completely. Add remaining ingredients including Havarti cheese and bake in the oven until desired doneness of the egg is reached.

Note: Increase the recipe quantities as needed for the number of people you are serving.
